FAQ

Q1: I see both blue and green adapters are kpump "universal adapters", but they're quite different than the black nozzle that comes on the pump. Is the idea that if the black piece in the below pic gets damaged, I can pull it off and replace it with the universal adapter?

A1: Yep, you are correct about the adapters. Here is the website for K-pump: https://k-pump.com/ which has some helpful videos and a FAQ section that might help. Freebird cements the black adapter on, so don’t try to remove it unless you have to for some reason. If it does come off or get damaged, then the blue or green adapter can be used directly onto the K-pump, but they don’t have the nice twist and lock mechanism.

Q2: The Multiledge has a bubble on the bottom of it exactly beneath the valve but on the opposite side. It is maybe 1.5 inches in diameter, sticks out ~2mm and has no dimples. Is this intended?

A2: The bubble below the valve is normal and expected. The drop stitch threads (internal to the inflatable) must be cut in that location during manufacturing to allow for the valve to be inserted there. This leads to the bubble. It is supposed to be that way.

Q3: Where do I find the repair kit?

A3: The repair kit is in the cache cap of the K-pump.
